Founded in 1979 by Roger Gulperin, the Company earned its’ reputation for quality and service in the aerospace and defence industries through the manufacturing and assembly of small pressed components. Under Roger’s direction the Company attained approvals from most major OEM’s and expanded its capabilities into precision machining, fabrication and assembly to become a world-renowned manufacturer, distributor and service provider.
In the late 1990’s, Farsound developed a more comprehensive supply solution and broader product portfolio in response to the growing quality and efficiency needs of its customer base. The company began stockholding and distributing a wide range of parts, expanding into the supply of kits and sub-assemblies, consignment stockholding and JIT supply for new build and aftermarket support.
The Company has strived to stay abreast of ever changing needs and requirements of the dynamic industries & markets it serves through investment in plant and equipment, in facilities, in new technologies and most importantly people. This has enabled the consistent growth of the business both in the UK and abroad. With significant sales to export markets, Farsound is well positioned worldwide to develop relationships with new customers whilst continuing to support core existing customers and their industries.
