KITTING
The kitting module is responsible for the management of all supply
solutions that encompass outsourcing of components for integration into
kits, and for component repair/recovery activities carried out under
our JAR 145 and FAR 145 repair station approvals.
Integration is carried out under two general categories of OE supply, repair and overhaul support. OE supply kits contain all component parts necessary to produce either complete units, or defined sub-units, and contain all new components procured from designated approved sources. Repair and overhaul support kits are either pre-defined kits of parts required to support repair and overhaul activities to OE units, or kits supplied under our Component Recovery and Kitting Programme.
We assume complete management control of our supply base, but allow our customers to retain ultimate control. Kits are reviewed regularly to ensure they always represent the optimum supply solution in line with our customer’s requirements.
Lean events are held periodically to ensure any improvement opportunities are identified and incorporated in the programme. Basic Kitting services provided:
• Component recovery repair and overhaul (or to customer specification)
• Bespoke Kittign Solutions
• Fastner Cleaning, Inspection and Recovery
We are also pleased to offer the following additional services on a consultancy basis
• Technical service consultancy
• Project management across a broad range of industry disciplines
• NADCAP approved support services
• Complex supply chain analysis and management
• Supply chain consolidation and management
